Being Intuitive

Being intuitive requires the deepest surrender. You lean back into the void, into the place between worlds and words. Ecstasy and bliss arises, flooding through your being and you know there is only Oneness in Eternity.

Being intuitive requires the deepest courage. To leave that behind and come back to the here and now and experience what is separation. To put words to what you knew and felt, to make the unconscious -conscious.

Being intuitive requires love. To know more than you can ever be able to explain.

Being intuitive requires trust. To trust your words are misunderstood and resisted. And to be okay still. That’s all part of the plan.

A Healing Mantra:

I love all the loved and unloved parts of myself.

I accept all the accepted and unaccepted parts of myself.

I approve of all unapproved and rejected parts of myself.

Speak this mantra throughout your day and watch your energy shift. The more you feel it as you say it, the better.

This is a simple step to begin self-healing, deepen it, and refocus your energy and thoughts on yourself. These statements are especially helpful if you find that you are outwardly focused on others, or find that you look for love, approval and acceptance outside of yourself. The more you can find it within, the easier your life will flow.

The #1 Reason Manifestation Techniques Don’t Work

My guides keep reminding me of this precious detail every so often. We tend to get lost in our race to make things happen, to get what we want, to push toward our goals, and to clear the blockages in the way, energetic or otherwise. We focus on the minute details, we clear and clear and clear the energy and give it our all. We stay positive, focused, happy and do everything we learned to do about manifesting our dreams, even letting go of them so the universe can take care of it and make things happen. Okay, not all of us, but if you’re nodding your head to this you know the pain of striving towards what you want every single day, sometimes working at it all day every day and seeing only minor shifts – if that. Sometimes we break down in frustration or seek more help, or find more blocks to clear, but it feels like an endless cycle with certain things. So what’s going on?

Ask and You Shall Receive. That really is all it is. Did you ever ask for something, let it go and then see it show it up? Sometimes you hardly asked for it at all, it was just a passing thought in your mind – and there it was knocking at your door or coming to you asking you if you were interested in what they have to offer. So what is the difference here? Why does certain things show up so easily and other things you feel may never change?

Many books will tell you the problem is about the receiving. You have asked for it, but you are not open to receive it. You’re not a good receiver. You have to let go and just receive. But, I’ll tell you something different, a secret of sorts.

Asking is receiving.

When you ask for something and you are clear as to what you want, but you are not hung up on the need of it thinking it will change your life, or you’ll finally be set free, it is free to come to you. If there is nothing really attached to the asking, but just the desire, it will show up. If there is a lot riding on the outcome of that thing showing up, or you just want it oh so badly, it won’t show up so easily.

Here’s why. You don’t really want it. It’s pretty simple, if you really wanted it, you would have it already. I don’t mean “want” as in lack, like wanting something so badly that it hurts, or makes you sad/miserable/or depressed in any way. I mean desiring it, from a calm relaxed place. A place where you know you can have it. Think of it like this, you have three meals in the refrigerator and someone asks you which one you want. You are coming from a place of having, or a calm place of knowing, versus, the frustrated feeling of lacking and being without that comes up when you think of thing you want so much that you have been working so hard to get all these years.

I have a friend that keeps asking me when she’ll find a job, or what she has to do to get that perfect job. She gets other jobs, minimum wage ones that she doesn’t like to do. She wants a certain type of job. When I tested her “Truth, do you really want a job?” It was a no. You can try this at home. What is that you have been striving for all these years? Truth, do you really desire it? If you do muscle testing you can test to see what you get here. If not, you can feel deep down into your body, not in your head as your head will tell you “yes you do want it of course duh!”. What does your body say? This may not always be the answer, but so many times it goes back to something as simple as this. Do you really want this thing or not? Maybe you are waiting for more perfect conditions to show up. Like losing weight first, then having that relationship. Or maybe feeling like you need to fix something about yourself first before you get out there and get that job. When we looked at this further, my friend felt like she wasn’t good enough for a better job, so deep down she didn’t want the job yet because she felt it was above her.

So what do you do about this? Well, you can look at where you are giving mixed signals to the universe. I advised my friend to focus on both sides of the coin for faster results, what is blocking you from wanting it and is what you want best suited for you right now? One thing was working on her self-esteem and confidence and trust in herself to build up her value, and the other side of this was to sit with the idea of what she thought she wanted. Why did she want this type of job? What did she think it would give her? Did she indeed want this or just the status of the job so she could feel a certain way? Would she be better suited to something else, or was she ready to put her fears aside step into something bigger? She is currently sorting through all of this, but I know when she stops giving mixed signals to the universe and puts out one message clearly – I know she will get what she truly wants.



Protection Rituals: Day 3

Okay, you’ve made it to Day 3 when we shift our focus onto your body, your energy, your thoughts and your emotions. Did you know that entities can affect how you think and feel about yourself? They can affect your energy level and if you feel ready to get out of bed or feel suddenly in a state of lethargy.

How do you know if a negative or “dark” being is attached to you? Well, if you were feeling or doing pretty great, then suddenly  you feel very tired, lethargic, overwhelmed, foggy-headed, have a string of bad luck, you have anger or some other form of extreme emotion, or some type of physical issue has manifested. Of course this could all be related to other things, sometimes a medical issue, and this definitely isn’t a complete list of symptoms. What I’ve noticed is that during a healing session if I clear the being that is attached or following someone around these symptoms will fade or go away completely. If there is a physical concern, clearing the being will help that person heal faster whether they are using medication or some other means to help heal the physical form simultaneously.

Whether you have a concern or not, this is still a great cleanse to do regularly for preventative purposes or clear any energies around you that may be just starting to affect you. Low vibrational beings are usually around people that have emotional upsets or low energy or have spots of negativity already. This process keeps your energy strong and clear and is very simple and easy.

In this process you will be soaking your feet. You will a need a bucket filled with enough water to cover your ankles and some rock salt thrown in. If you don’t have that, sea salts are good to use, or even epsom salts will help although it may take a bit longer to clear, or you may need to repeat this process a few times.

You will need to relax, take some deep cleansing breaths and soak your feet for 15 mins. If its difficult for you to sit still, then you may want to wait to 10 mins, or if you can go longer 20 mins is great. As you are relaxing send your focus through your body and see or feel everything that is dark or negative leaving you and going into the water. Take slow relaxing breaths and then see yourself filled with light. Focus on your heart area and feel love and gratitude for the process that is taking place. You can also see or feel your aura cleansing. If you would like to meditate or have a prayer you would like to chant that would totally appropriate for this. Its up to you. The main goal is to not focus on negative thoughts, worries, concerns or be stressed during this process. The lighter and more open you are, the more negativity that can release and cleanse away with ease for you.

Oh, and you may need a nap after this. Some people spring up full of energy, others need a nap to help process the energy shift. Be gentle with yourself.

And there you have it, Day 3! Enjoy your cleansing!




Money and The $anta Claus Syndrome

Millions. Want to have millions of dollars? No you don’t, because if you truly wanted it you’d have it already. Ouch! Ok, just repeating back to you what I’ve been hearing all along in the self-help and the metaphysical world of manifestation and transformation. How does it feel to know you really don’t want something even though you think you do? I’ve noticed most people fall into an abyss of hopelessness at times, but mostly frustration when this is said and not followed up by a deeper explanation.

Perhaps this has been said to you, or you’ve read and heard this as well in its other forms, as in “You’re just not willing to receive yet.”, or “Choose it, its up to you.”, or  “When the time is right it’ll show up.” Now, let me just add that – this is true, to an extent. Let’s take this a bit further so you can get to the other side with this most frustrating statement.

Here are some steps to get you through the process! Please note this is not overnight and each of these steps take time if you truly would like to generate something in your life. With some things you may be able to work your magic and go through each step in 1-3 days.

1. Really acknowledge what it is you truly desire, allow yourself to want it, desperately want it.

2. Give yourself permission to have it. Picture yourself having it and owning it. Imagine what that would be like.

3. Act like its yours already. This is more of a feeling/emotion rather than an actual physical act. So what would it feel like to be rich? Step into that feeling. In no way do I mean go out and spend money like you are rich, because you are not rich yet! Ooops, sorry for another harsh reminder! Anywhoo…you can apply this to other things of course, what would it feel like to be in a relationship? Or have your dream job?

4. If step #3 brought up any type of bad feelings for you, this is a biggie as why what you want is not showing up. Take note of what brought up the negative feelings and images and let that go, clear that energy.

5. All the images and visions you created in step #2, let all that stuff go and clear that energy. That step was vital to helping you cross the threshold into the true feelings of actually having what you desire, but if you hold on to it, it will be a limitation and may block what you want to show up – or just limit how and under what circumstances it shows up for you.

6. Really acknowledge that you’ve come this far! Most people don’t even get to or past step 1. I’ve found that the deepest desires in many clients are hidden deep down and never expressed, like you did in step #1. Its sort of a secret desire that they know about but don’t fully acknowledge. When the feelings come up they push it down, push it away, or tell themselves it can never be, and unfortunately it remains a fantasy and never an actual goal.

7. Act! What do you need to do here? Take a step ahead towards your goal, now that its real and a lot of the blockages around you having it has been cleared. Is it time to meet people in a different way than before if you’d like a relationship? Do you need a lottery ticket? Feel compelled to look for a higher paying job? Whatever your goal take a step. This gets the energy moving faster.

8. Acknowledge that if you did step #7, again you’ve gone a lot further than most people. Much of the time people tend to sit and wait for something to show up. If we take it a step further we work to clear the energy – but even then we have a habit of waiting until all the energy is clear and believe that whatever we are asking for should just show up now. If it does, awesome!

9. At this point there is some progress. You may feel very different. You may be meeting more people if you are looking for a relationship. If you are asking for money perhaps a job opportunity shows up, or you may just feel very motivated and have more energy. Let’s take it further, again look at what is holding you back from having what you desire. Ask what are all the reasons why what you are asking for is not showing up. Clear that. Take another action. Keep this on repeat until you get what you are looking for. Don’t give up, you are working your way there!

So next time someone tells you that you must not really want something to change, clear, heal or show up, check where you are on this chart. Much of the time people find that they are at #1 or #2 and don’t know what to do next or to do to “really want” that thing.

As promised in a previous blog post I had said that I would explain what I call the Santa Claus Syndrome in more detail. The Santa Claus Syndrome is when we finally do step #1 and then wait and wait and wait and wonder why what we desire has not shown up. This is usually due to a belief that this is all it takes. Now, this isn’t totally off – some things for some people can just show up by wanting it enough. This possibly has happened to everybody at some point with at least one thing.

Also, the Santa Claus Syndrome can rear its head when we do more work at times. For example, we desire something and keep clearing energy blockages and clearing  and clearing and clearing, fully expecting that when we clear enough it will show up. Again, it may – and how wonderful that would be. But if it doesn’t, let this be your backup plan!



Half-Empty/Half-Full, or Always Overflowing?

Did you know that when you choose something it actually becomes much easier to look at the positive side of things?

One of my friends is thinking of moving here, and I thought “Wow! that’s phenomenal – you get to enjoy a piece of paradise down here in south Fl! Good for you!” However – that was apparently my point of view. My friend was met with naysayers that live in the area deterring even the thought of a move. “I’m over it. There’s nothing to do here. It’s too hot here. It’s hard to meet people around here. There are no jobs.” These were just some of the tidbits of unsolicited advice. However, if you are around me for even 5 mins you’d hear “It’s so amazing here. Look at the beautiful sunset. That tree is gorgeous! It’s beautiful out! I love it here!” I said many of those things today, even in mid-the-world-is-gonna-end-thunderstorm/hurricane weather that even the alligators and snakes come out of hiding to run for cover.

As I sat and thought about this, I thought about living in CT. Growing up I felt so bored living there, and ughhh the winter! I felt like it wasn’t my choice to be there and I didn’t have the means to move. I was frustrated being stuck in the house on snowy days and I didn’t like being out in the cold at all. When I got into my mid 20’s though, I started to appreciate where I lived. I realized we were so to close to NYC, we could take all kinds of trips to different states pretty easily, we had mountains as well as beaches, there were a lot of corporate jobs and the pay was great, and its one of the richest states. So I chose to stay a little bit longer and enjoy my time there.

Do you like where you live? What would happen if you chose to live there, even if you told yourself it was just for a little while? Well what happened to me before I left CT was that almost every single weekend was a trip to somewhere I had never been. On nice days I soaked up the sun. On an autumn day I rolled in leaves. In the spring I danced in the rain and ran through the grass. In the winter – well I would like to say I shoveled but actually I stayed inside and killed some hot chocolate, pizza and snoozed to movie marathons. How would you start to look at things if you were actively choosing to live where you live? Would the days get brighter? Would you meet more interesting people?

I love it down here in south FL, although I will admit that its never easy to move somewhere completely new by yourself. My move would’ve been easier had there been a partner or friend moving with me. However, the point that I chose to be here is what gets me up in the morning, looking for new things to do, people to meet, and places to explore and expand my love for the area. I would dare to even say that I love it because I chose it. Everything is brighter, funnier, more beautiful and spectacular.  What’s really funny is that I thought people up north stayed in the house for 6 mos of the year because its cold and snowy or some other location/weather related excuse. To my amazement what I’ve found here is that a lot of people stay indoors too and it has nothing to do with the location or weather as I was originally convinced! That blows my mind! People are people no matter where you live. They stay inside in paradise and can complain about where they are living, or they jump into a pile of snow and laugh and giggle and enjoy where they are at.

What’s great about where you live? I believe that we are where we are for a reason and it suits us at the time. Are you allowing your location to suit you and be to your greatest benefit? Try saying “I’m choosing to live here until I choose to live somewhere else.” See what shows up!

Making Money: Definitely Don’t Do This Tip #3


Here it is folks, tip #3.

Never do it for the money!

See, money follows joy and presence. The key words in that are not joy and presence. I don’t mean it like “if I’m more joyful and present in my life money will show up”. Nope, because in a way there is still a focus on what one has to do to get the money. The key words to take notice here are “money follows”. Ahhh yes! Money follows.

Picture money as a squirrel. Know what happens when you chase a squirrel? You almost never catch it! What if you were to sit outside to enjoy the animals and sit very still and be very present and be at peace with yourself and nature, and drop some food for the squirrel? Well, it just might come to you.  You may find also all the other animals come near you too as well as people wish to be near you.

This isn’t to say quit your job and only do what you love. Or that you will only make money doing something that truly moves you. That is not true and won’t work!

What I AM saying is that if you have presence in your life, and do things with presence and the joy of living and being, money shows up! Money is a curious creature. So many people are chasing it that it stops and takes notice at the ones that don’t. Money will show up in your life in the various outlets you have to receive it when you become focused and present on life and living it.

For example, if you work as a teacher, focus on why you chose that and the fulfillment it brings you. When you leave work, be present with your drive home and notice nature and your surroundings and breathe. When you get home allow yourself to be present and enjoy preparing dinner. When we wake up in the morning be present as you dress yourself and prepare. Its not about what you do. If you do something that you absolutely abhor, look for one good thing in it and focus on that.  If you hate waking up super early, look for something positive there too. Like get yourself a special flavored coffee you look forward to, or play a fun song to wake up to.

The more present we are in our life, the more abundance in general will show up, not just money. Be present in each moment, not necessarily just one part of the day or that hour you get to go home and talk to your best friend or relax on the couch. Do you know someone that is totally present with you, when you talk on the phone or see them? How do you feel when you are around them? Would you like to be around them more? Well if you do know someone you also know that you can’t get enough of that person, you feel heard, understood, fulfilled. This is the energy that money loves to be around, its not just a human attraction, money wants them too!

I’ve had people practice this and not only has money shown up, but a relationship too! Of course it takes some practice and tweaking and each day will not be perfect. Practice being present especially during a difficult part of your day and watch things start to shift immediately.



A little unicorn journey


So here’s a little secret I’ve told no one about, not even my best friend. Every night while putting on my PJs for bed I have this little ritual. I say, “All the money that I gave out today, I call back to me 10 fold! Thank you.”

What this does energetically, aside from calling back 10x the money you gave out, is put you into a space of gratitude with the money that you spent for the day. Ever spend in one day more than than you make in a week? Know that feeling at the end of the day when you start to add up what you spent? Not good, right? This usually will put you into a space of peace and gratitude, knowing the money you gave out is going to circulate, as money was meant to do, and then make its way back to you in a greater capacity. How does it get any better than that?

When you are at peace and gratitude with money, it allows more of it to show up for you. You can think about it this way too: Would you rather go over to a friends house that had peace and gratitude for having you in their life? Or would you rather go over and spend time with the person freaking out and fixated on not having enough of you? Eeeek! Most likely the first one right?

So there you go, there’s my little nightime secret ritual. If that’s way too easy for you and you are someone that is willing to work just a bit harder for their money, there’s more you can do. You can visualize your walls, barriers, shields, moats, etc. dissolving from all around you, then visualize the energy of money (get creative here – it doesn’t have to be dollar bills – it can be a new car, a house, gold, a buried treasure! etc. anything that you consider the energy of money to be and you can change it every night) coming from the universe and into your energy, flowing to you, then through you, through every molecule, fiber and cell of your being, for a few minutes.

Super Simple. Super Easy. So DEFINITELY DON”T use this because it might work. 🙂
