Being Intuitive

Being intuitive requires the deepest surrender. You lean back into the void, into the place between worlds and words. Ecstasy and bliss arises, flooding through your being and you know there is only Oneness in Eternity.

Being intuitive requires the deepest courage. To leave that behind and come back to the here and now and experience what is separation. To put words to what you knew and felt, to make the unconscious -conscious.

Being intuitive requires love. To know more than you can ever be able to explain.

Being intuitive requires trust. To trust your words are misunderstood and resisted. And to be okay still. That’s all part of the plan.

Surviving with Money to Thriving with Money!

True Love

Are you looking for romantic love?

Has the love left the relationship and you feel more like friends?

Do you dream of a deep soulmate connection or a twin flame union with another?

If that’s a yes, I have one more question for you.

Do you believe in true love? Romantic love.

Most people give a resounding yes here. We’ve all been exposed to fairy tales and may even know that special couple that has that type of love we yearn for. So in our heads we know that love exists and maybe we believe that anything is possible. Let’s go deeper with this though. Really feel into your body. Drop down to your stomach or pelvis area, that part of you that has a gut feeling. Let your body answer this. Do you believe true love can happen to you? See how that feels. Did you your body move forward or nod yes, or did you move backwards and shake your head no. Did it feel like your stomach was turning, tight, or you held your breath? Or maybe you felt light and you know with all of your being that yes true love can happen to you.

It’s amazing how many people say yes and then realize its a no. There’s a lot of things we know in our heads to be true, but our bodies tell a different story about what we are creating and why we are not manifesting the things we so desire. If we truly don’t think true love can happen for us then you probably have a lot of frustration with relationships, or maybe you are not getting that romance or passion out of a current relationship.

Look at your beliefs here, then begin to let go of the ones that no longer serves you. Maybe a lot of pain came up in this process for you. Be with those emotions, feel them all until it passes. Clear the way until you get a resounding YES! that true love is possible for you. It is possible for you.

A Healing Mantra:

I love all the loved and unloved parts of myself.

I accept all the accepted and unaccepted parts of myself.

I approve of all unapproved and rejected parts of myself.

Speak this mantra throughout your day and watch your energy shift. The more you feel it as you say it, the better.

This is a simple step to begin self-healing, deepen it, and refocus your energy and thoughts on yourself. These statements are especially helpful if you find that you are outwardly focused on others, or find that you look for love, approval and acceptance outside of yourself. The more you can find it within, the easier your life will flow.

Protection Rituals: Day 3

Okay, you’ve made it to Day 3 when we shift our focus onto your body, your energy, your thoughts and your emotions. Did you know that entities can affect how you think and feel about yourself? They can affect your energy level and if you feel ready to get out of bed or feel suddenly in a state of lethargy.

How do you know if a negative or “dark” being is attached to you? Well, if you were feeling or doing pretty great, then suddenly  you feel very tired, lethargic, overwhelmed, foggy-headed, have a string of bad luck, you have anger or some other form of extreme emotion, or some type of physical issue has manifested. Of course this could all be related to other things, sometimes a medical issue, and this definitely isn’t a complete list of symptoms. What I’ve noticed is that during a healing session if I clear the being that is attached or following someone around these symptoms will fade or go away completely. If there is a physical concern, clearing the being will help that person heal faster whether they are using medication or some other means to help heal the physical form simultaneously.

Whether you have a concern or not, this is still a great cleanse to do regularly for preventative purposes or clear any energies around you that may be just starting to affect you. Low vibrational beings are usually around people that have emotional upsets or low energy or have spots of negativity already. This process keeps your energy strong and clear and is very simple and easy.

In this process you will be soaking your feet. You will a need a bucket filled with enough water to cover your ankles and some rock salt thrown in. If you don’t have that, sea salts are good to use, or even epsom salts will help although it may take a bit longer to clear, or you may need to repeat this process a few times.

You will need to relax, take some deep cleansing breaths and soak your feet for 15 mins. If its difficult for you to sit still, then you may want to wait to 10 mins, or if you can go longer 20 mins is great. As you are relaxing send your focus through your body and see or feel everything that is dark or negative leaving you and going into the water. Take slow relaxing breaths and then see yourself filled with light. Focus on your heart area and feel love and gratitude for the process that is taking place. You can also see or feel your aura cleansing. If you would like to meditate or have a prayer you would like to chant that would totally appropriate for this. Its up to you. The main goal is to not focus on negative thoughts, worries, concerns or be stressed during this process. The lighter and more open you are, the more negativity that can release and cleanse away with ease for you.

Oh, and you may need a nap after this. Some people spring up full of energy, others need a nap to help process the energy shift. Be gentle with yourself.

Half-Empty/Half-Full, or Always Overflowing?

Did you know that when you choose something it actually becomes much easier to look at the positive side of things?

One of my friends is thinking of moving here, and I thought “Wow! that’s phenomenal – you get to enjoy a piece of paradise down here in south Fl! Good for you!” However – that was apparently my point of view. My friend was met with naysayers that live in the area deterring even the thought of a move. “I’m over it. There’s nothing to do here. It’s too hot here. It’s hard to meet people around here. There are no jobs.” These were just some of the tidbits of unsolicited advice. However, if you are around me for even 5 mins you’d hear “It’s so amazing here. Look at the beautiful sunset. That tree is gorgeous! It’s beautiful out! I love it here!” I said many of those things today, even in mid-the-world-is-gonna-end-thunderstorm/hurricane weather that even the alligators and snakes come out of hiding to run for cover.

As I sat and thought about this, I thought about living in CT. Growing up I felt so bored living there, and ughhh the winter! I felt like it wasn’t my choice to be there and I didn’t have the means to move. I was frustrated being stuck in the house on snowy days and I didn’t like being out in the cold at all. When I got into my mid 20’s though, I started to appreciate where I lived. I realized we were so to close to NYC, we could take all kinds of trips to different states pretty easily, we had mountains as well as beaches, there were a lot of corporate jobs and the pay was great, and its one of the richest states. So I chose to stay a little bit longer and enjoy my time there.

Do you like where you live? What would happen if you chose to live there, even if you told yourself it was just for a little while? Well what happened to me before I left CT was that almost every single weekend was a trip to somewhere I had never been. On nice days I soaked up the sun. On an autumn day I rolled in leaves. In the spring I danced in the rain and ran through the grass. In the winter – well I would like to say I shoveled but actually I stayed inside and killed some hot chocolate, pizza and snoozed to movie marathons. How would you start to look at things if you were actively choosing to live where you live? Would the days get brighter? Would you meet more interesting people?

I love it down here in south FL, although I will admit that its never easy to move somewhere completely new by yourself. My move would’ve been easier had there been a partner or friend moving with me. However, the point that I chose to be here is what gets me up in the morning, looking for new things to do, people to meet, and places to explore and expand my love for the area. I would dare to even say that I love it because I chose it. Everything is brighter, funnier, more beautiful and spectacular.  What’s really funny is that I thought people up north stayed in the house for 6 mos of the year because its cold and snowy or some other location/weather related excuse. To my amazement what I’ve found here is that a lot of people stay indoors too and it has nothing to do with the location or weather as I was originally convinced! That blows my mind! People are people no matter where you live. They stay inside in paradise and can complain about where they are living, or they jump into a pile of snow and laugh and giggle and enjoy where they are at.

What’s great about where you live? I believe that we are where we are for a reason and it suits us at the time. Are you allowing your location to suit you and be to your greatest benefit? Try saying “I’m choosing to live here until I choose to live somewhere else.” See what shows up!

The Habit of Happy Hustling

I’m kind of a book addict. What I like to do is reach my hand up onto a bookshelf in a bookstore and see which book falls into my hand. Too bad I can’t choose men that way LOL!  I’ve been reading this book, Super Rich by Russell Simmons and this was how we found each other. After it first fell into my hand, I read the back cover and was quite intrigued as it talked about moving past your preconceived notions of what success is and how to reach abundance. Turning it over to look at the front cover and seeing the name Super Rich, and the fact that the book just radiates out a money energy, I was kind of shocked I would buy a book on being super rich. But alas, it had fallen into my hand and I knew I had to have it.

By the time I got to page 5 I had already had my mind blown when he explains even though the title of his book might suggest one would end up super rich, the book is not about how to obtain a mansion or a collection of beautiful luxury cars.  In the book he is actually encouraging you to strive for something much greater than material abundance. It’s about living in a state of consciousness where you’re able to see and allow the miracles of life to unfold right before your eyes. Its about the abundance of spirit and being connected to your highest self in a way very few people are able to. This is how one experiences the riches of life, and also that it can lead to material abundance and usually does, but is not the focus of the book.

Ok, now it makes sense why I got the book.

There’s a part in the book called The Happy Hustler. He basically talks about doing everything – every single thing – no matter how menial you think it is with a happy heart. To approach all of your work this way, with a smile, and the care you would give the most important task or do something that you loved. He suggests to blur and even remove the distinction of what success is and what failure is. So I thought to myself, “What if I spent an entire day like this? What if I approached everything I did with a smile, a happy heart, hustle, selflessness, dedication and drive, what would that be like?” And so last night I thought “ok tomorrow is the day to try this out. Let’s see what happens!” And so I easily fell asleep with a smile.

Wake up: Is that really a weedwacker RIGHT OUTSIDE MY WINDOW? Yep it was. This is how I woke up, definitely not birds chirping or the soothing sounds of a water fall – that would be what would make me smile. I recalled I needed to smile, so I did and realized my face was grimaced like I was watching someone dissect an animal – ugh high school memories. As I drank my coffee I noticed I didn’t have the “ugh need to crawl back in bed” feeling I usually have. So I stayed present and drank my coffee and really tasted it vs. just drinking it like a shot to hurry up and get it in my body so the day can commence. I actually felt slightly more happy (I’m a little grumpy in the morning, or so I’ve been accused.) Hmmm..ok. I noticed I immediately got up and started to do some tasks. Usually I would sit and daydream or journal for a while, but I actually felt like doing something.

Early Afternoon: Time to pay the bills. Now normally this is a task no one really enjoys. Instead I smiled and paid several bills, stayed focused and present, did each one with awareness and total care. I actually felt no emotion about saying goodbye to sweet money. As a matter of fact, I blessed each payment and asked it to come back to me. Then I even sorted through receipts and did some accounting.  This kind of stuff I consider boring and would put off til receipts were falling on my head or I absolutely had to take care of this. Alright, something was working. Usually the coffee doesn’t even kick in by now so I knew it wasn’t that. I even made a healthy lunch and ate with total presence and joy. The salad I usually have even tasted better. Ok a little better, not super duper better though but I actually remembered to taste it this time. Usually I would need something very spicy or rich before my taste buds woke up, but they seemed to be awake today.

Afternoon – evening: Easy breezy did some phone sessions. Well to be honest, most of the time this is how I approach my work – with dedication, smiles, joy, and presence. Its easy because I love what I do and love to work with people.

Late Evening: Here we are. Normally I’d be napping and reading or thinking about all the things I actually should be doing but have been avoiding for centuries. I’m actually smiling as I type this, have a lot of energy left and feel like my usual black cloud is not hovering over my head – it might be nearby who knows – but at least its not lurking over me.

So that was my fun experiment. I realized I don’t need things like birds chirping and waterfalls to make me happy. I keep waiting on something to show up to make me happy. What I realized is, I make me happy. Its a choice. Actually its more like a mindset, a habit if you will. I’m unfortunately trained to be unhappy til something comes along to change that. What I’ve been waiting for all along was me! Try it out and see!

Some tips: The best time to set your intention to do this is before bed like I did, then you can sleep and release some blocks to doing this and being in this energy the next day and it’ll be a bit easier. You will probably wake up like, uh, am I really going to do this? But then say yes! The best time to restate your intention is when you first wake up and are still kind of in the sleep zone. This way the message goes directly to your subconscious. Then take your time and be present with everything you do, remind yourself to smile and that everything you do is essentially for you in one way or another and can be an opportunity to be happy. So many people, when you ask them what they really want, say: Just to finally be happy! What if happiness is just a habit?

Affirmation for you beautiful ones: Today I approach everything I do with a smile, a happy heart, hustle, selflessness, dedication, and drive. I wonder how happy I can be today?
