Feelings

What can be a contribution to you that you may not even be aware of?

What can be a contribution to you that you may not even be aware of?

Your clothes.

Your food.

Your money.

Animals.

The Earth.

Your home.

Let’s say you have a plate of food in front of you.

Take a moment to just breathe it in. Take a breath and really feel it by tuning into your body.

Ask, “Will you contribute to me?”.

In this moment just relax and the let the molecules change to match whatever it is you need that you may not even be aware of. Enjoy!

Yes molecules can change pretty quickly when you know it can change pretty quickly. hehe ūüôā20160423_002405

Twin Flames: Stage 1

The first stage in meeting your twin flame is the meeting.

This¬†initial connection with your twin is usually a synchronous event or surrounded by some sort of unusual or interesting synchronicity! Both of you have a¬†recognition of each other. Now, this may not be an “I’ve known you forever feeling” as usually happens with soulmates, but there’s definitely something that stands out about them.

The meeting can even feel surreal.

You know that the person you are with is different or maybe completely unlike anyone you have met before. They seem to get you without much effort and there’s an ease to being with them. It’s at this stage that both of your heart chakras begin to open and the awakening starts to happen. You feel comfortable around them or able to open up more and be more of yourself without much effort.

If you haven’t met your twin in person its still considered Stage 1 if your twin has come to you in dreams or if you are intuitive and can sense that type of soul trying to connect with you energetically. Everyone is unique and there are lots of ways to meet your twin, so while is the norm, it doesn’t fit every single case.

Many twins that are at stage 1 may not even be aware of something called “Twin Flame Reconnection” at this point.

Stage 2 — coming soon!

Blessings,

Vanessa

Blissed Out of Polarity

I love listening to the pouring rain and watching it¬†pummel the exotic plants and trees. I am enchanted¬†as¬†the sky lights up and turns from bright orange to black as the night approaches. I watch as the stars struggle to radiate and shine behind these thick clouds. This is¬†bliss to me. I feel like I can breathe again, relax again, be me again. It’s when I am¬†the most at peace and my energy feels the clearest its been. Silence ensues within my body, and even the neighborhood goes quiet. The irony of the intense thunder outside creates the most intense stillness inside.

We are always coming into balance one way or another. This is the natural cycle of life. Did you ever notice how when there is chaos outside you get very still within yourself? Whether you are thinking of a plan of action, go into survival mode or even freeze up in fear, stillness becomes you. When you have stillness or joy within ever notice how someone comes along to knock you of alignment with the divine, or seems to fight the mood you are in? We seem to always be polarized and attracting the opposite to create that balance of Oneness that we truly live in. The more we fight it, the more it fights back. What we resist, persists. Its the same as when we go on a 5 day yoga retreat, or attend a 3 day energy workshop. We leave feeling great, open and expanded, then within days we can feel tight and contracted, and even old emotions can rise up to the surface.

When our vibration goes up and we finally feel amazing and on top of the world we tend to never want to come back down, so we naturally or even instinctually push¬†out those other emotions, energies and frequencies. We feel they are bad or we label them under the NO WAY category. I¬†know I do. When I feel great I feel like there is no way I’m coming back down. However, there is no such thing as exclusion in a world of energy when all is One¬†and needs negative and positive to operate. So what you decide you don’t want, comes fighting back to its rightful place as much as you fight to push it way. It’s like fighting your reversed mirror image. You attract people who feel threatened by your expansion or new found joy. They fight it because they feel excluded from your life. So how do we escape polarity but enjoy our bliss?

Accept all energies. Allow it to flow. Imagine the thing you want the most to happen. Imagine how you would feel if it already happened. If there’s a smile on your face that’s a good sign. If you feel light in your heart and an opening there, this is what acceptance feels like. Allow yourself to feel that and watch how much easier it is to stay blissful.

Are you loving from your heart or your head?

Are you loving from your heart or your head?

This is a strange phenomena I’ve come across lately. Being love vs. doing loving actions based on what we think the idea of love is. The latter is way too common. You could be a head lover if¬†you’ve found yourself saying “I’ve been very loving. I do all the right things. I’m a good person. Why can’t I get what I want? I feel forgotten, overlooked, unappreciated.” We could even add “I do so much for people and what do I get in return?!”. Or, “I’ve put so much good out in the world, what’s going on?!” If you resonate with any of that, there’s a big chance you are a head lover. Some other signs of this are you not attracting people you like and you seem to attract the ones you don’t like quite easily. Or maybe you do like them, but they don’t stick around, or you find out their feelings aren’t mutual after they seemed to be interested at first.

So if you’re a head lover, read on dear friend. We welcome you. You are not alone.

I know I’m dropping a bomb here when I say this, but here goes…

You are not actually loving.

Well now that that’s out of the way, let me say, you are a loving person. You are just not loving – as in the verb/action form of it. You are being the adjective. You’ve moved all that wondrous, amazing yumminess up to your head, which does nothing for you there. It just makes you seem loving. Its how people might describe you, with the adjective loving. The truth here is that you are a tremendously emotional or sensitive-to-feelings type of person, which is why you thought its much safer to pack up and move into the headspace. Perhaps your heart got hurt and you didn’t have to the tools to heal it, so you go through loving actions (notice the descriptor of love here) but can’t seem to attract your real desires¬†in your life in some area because the actual action of loving (verb usage here), which is not a mental state, but an actual embodied state,¬†isn’t¬†happening.

So go to your heart. What’s there? Do you feel anything? Is it heavy? Is it fine?

Now take your awareness from your beautiful and genius mind, which I’m sure is so with this group¬†since we’ve spent so much time there, and put that awareness inside your heart. Breathe in and out slowly a few times. What’s there? Muck and yuck? Puppies and rainbows? I’m not here to judge. When I went to my heart it was full of grief, layers and layers worth.

The heart has a gigantic magnetic field. This is what actually manifests our life. As within so without. So this is why no matter how many times you tell yourself you are going to get that job, that extra money, or a loving mate to show up, it doesn’t happen. You can think positive thoughts day and night, even have moments of feeling that confidence, but in the end it is the state of your heart that creates your outside world. Only when your heart is open and clearer, then those positive thoughts and moments of strong feelings of confidence flow through and can help to manifest what you desire.

Essentially, it would be in your best interest if everything came from love, and if its not possible in that moment, it could be forgiveness. Anything else is considered a withholding of love. The only person we can actually withhold love from is ourselves. Did you ever withhold love from someone because you were upset? Perhaps your mind felt self-satisfied, but did you notice your feelings were unbalanced in some way, maybe even a little empty?

The truth is this. You are LOVE. Love is just another word for your infinite source energy, or your spirit, or your creator, or the universe. So either you are coming from YOU Рyour authentic self Рlove, or you are cutting off from yourself, source, and spirit.

Whoa right!? When you come from love Рyouyou easily magnetize your deepest desires and things that are perfect for you without even asking.

When you have trouble coming from love, forgiveness is a wise choice. It opens up the heart and lets things flow and clears the karma of lifetimes gone by. Its all too easy to go back to the head and think we are open-hearted because we are being nice and even caring. When we come from the heart there is so much less work because we are being it and there is less doing or saving of anyone else.

One way to check this is to stop and feel. Are there endless thoughts in your mind? Do you get bored easily and need outside stimulation more often than not? You’re probably in the head.

Are you aware of your feelings (even if they are ones you consider negative) and is your mind mostly quiet? Do you do and say things that feel in alignment with you. Then you are most likely in the heart.

There’s a reason you’ve been in the head. We know its difficult, and it hurts to revisit what’s trapped there in the heart, but letting go and forgiveness will give you all that you seek.

Love & Blessings,

The Truth About Fear no one ever told you.

Recently I learned the following truth about fear. I learned what fear really was, and it blew my mind.

Completely.

See I’ve always had these random repressed fears,¬†most of which I didn’t know about until I was in a situation that made me fearful. Most of my life, like everybody else I had just learned to avoid fear. Over time these actions became unconscious. I was avoiding fearful situations and not even knowing why, or giving it second thought when I said No to something or just avoided things in general. I had a made an entire life pattern around safety and comfort. These things are big in my world, but I never questioned why until it started to become apparent this was not how everybody else lived. I just thought it was normal to say no to things that scared me or didn’t feel right, but I didn’t question why I was scared of something. I called it, “not liking it”, “not interested”, “not my thing”. Everything but scared.

To be clear, this is different from a phobia Рthose usually have trauma origins and many times connections or even origins in past lives.

A few years ago I learned that Fear was really Excitement. Uhh yeah, that never worked for me and I never understood why until now. Aside from the fact that its not true, but they are close in vibration as far as how they feel within and can be mistaken for one another at times, but it just never really felt like excitement to me.

So here’s the truth.

Fear is just your power. Its the place where you are lacking your power. It feels like your power stands outside of you. It comes up in all the situations where you feel powerless, have been powerless in the past, have memories of being powerless and just feel like you are lacking something. Fear is the absence of power. Your power. You’re actually fearing your power that is outside of you and having conscious or unconscious thoughts that its working against you. Sometimes we fear the unknown, but again, that is just the lack of your power and feeling like you can’t handle something.

Now, spiritually speaking, none of this is actually true. Nothing can be outside of you because we are all ONE. There is no separation. Your power can’t get away from you because it is essentially yours and can be called Home to you just as quickly and easily as you wish and feel worthy of that power that is already yours by acknowledging it. Essentially, fear is a reminder that you need to acknowledge that you are indeed powerful and call it home. That’s it. Fear is just a low vibration on the spectrum. If you were in a high vibration you’d automatically be in your power.

Knowledge is power. The key is to use this knowledge to switch into the higher vibration by claiming your power and fear dissolves.

Practice and play with this in a safe (non life-threatening) setting since we are used to reacting to fear for an entire lifetime certainly¬†there will be some learning curve at first. Imagine, next time fear strikes and you are quickly and easily able to say “this is just my power coming back to me!” ¬†instead of freezing up and¬†actually getting excited.

If this seems obvious to you – good. The truth is usually pretty simple.

Protection Rituals: Day 3

Okay, you’ve made it to Day 3 when we shift our focus onto your body, your energy, your thoughts and your emotions. Did you know that entities can affect how you think and feel about yourself? They can affect your energy level and if you feel ready to get out of bed or feel suddenly in a state of lethargy.

How do you know if a negative or “dark” being is attached to you? Well, if you were feeling or doing pretty great, then suddenly ¬†you feel very tired, lethargic, overwhelmed, foggy-headed, have a string of bad luck, you have anger or some other form of extreme emotion, or some type of physical issue has manifested. Of course this could all be related to other things, sometimes a medical issue, and this definitely isn’t a complete list of symptoms. What I’ve noticed is that during a healing session if I clear the being that is attached or following someone around these symptoms will fade or go away completely. If there is a physical concern, clearing the being will help that person heal faster whether they are using medication or some other means to help heal the physical form simultaneously.

Whether you have a concern or not, this is still a great cleanse to do regularly for preventative purposes or clear any energies around you that may be just starting to affect you. Low vibrational beings are usually around people that have emotional upsets or low energy or have spots of negativity already. This process keeps your energy strong and clear and is very simple and easy.

In this process you will be soaking your feet. You will a need a bucket filled with enough water to cover your ankles and some rock salt thrown in. If you don’t have that, sea salts are good to use, or even epsom salts will help although it may take a bit longer to clear, or you may need to repeat this process a few times.

You will need to relax, take some deep cleansing breaths and soak your feet for 15 mins. If its difficult for you to sit still, then you may want to wait to 10 mins, or if you can go longer 20 mins is great. As you are relaxing send your focus through your body and see or feel everything that is dark or negative leaving you and going into the water. Take slow relaxing breaths and then see yourself filled with light. Focus on your heart area and feel love and gratitude for the process that is taking place. You can also see or feel your aura cleansing. If you would like to meditate or have a prayer you would like to chant that would totally appropriate for this. Its up to you. The main goal is to not focus on negative thoughts, worries, concerns or be stressed during this process. The lighter and more open you are, the more negativity that can release and cleanse away with ease for you.

Oh, and you may need a nap after this. Some people spring up full of energy, others need a nap to help process the energy shift. Be gentle with yourself.

And there you have it, Day 3! Enjoy your cleansing!

Kisses,

Having Faith. When you know, you just know.

People often ask me about faith. It usually doesn’t come as a direct question, since most people have a sense of faith or already have touched upon it, or even ridden its waves of divinity. It tends to come as “Why should i have faith? I’ve trusted in the universe before and nothing happened.” or “Well, I’ll have faith, we’ll see..” and they watch and wait for the universe to either fulfill their dream or pull the rug out from under as usual. However, that’s not actually faith in the divine. That’s faith in mistrust of the universe, or faith in darkness, negativity, or the universe conspiring against you. Faith is not a we’ll-see attitude, nor does it have room for the slightest doubt, not even a drop. The easiest way for me to talk about faith is through a story.

In 2005 I was growing very tired of my job. I mean I loved it, I felt I was good at it, there were nice people, there was room to grow, there was support, there was money and great vacations. I mean, lots of good stuff here. However, I knew once I started growing tired that it would be time to move on. I always knew I would do something else, and that work was temporary, but never knew what or when a new beginning would strike.

I had no clue what else I could be good at besides what I went to college to do. I also knew I was blessed to have such a great job in software engineering. However, there was always this knowing that it wasn’t for me. That something totally different and unique would be my calling. After 7 years in the field I started to get this inkling it was time to go. I grew tired of going in to work, but mostly it felt like I lost my passion for it. As I paid attention to this feeling, it grew louder and louder. I felt like an entire life change was ahead, but I still didn’t know what. Finally I felt like I needed to make a first move. So I gave my notice that I was leaving.

Well, it was an interesting reaction from people when I explained I didn’t know what I was leaving a great job for. Yet, I was unmoved. It didn’t bother me at all whatever they might have thought or said among themselves. I figured they thought I was crazy, and I am probably am. Yet I stood firm. As I drove home a little bit of panic set in, as I drove to the house I had a mortgage on. Oh yes, bills. What would happen to me? Yet, I still couldn’t even go into a full-fledged panic or freak out. I was unusually calm for once in my life. When I arrived home that night I said, “God, please show me what career I am to do, what job I am to do, or what I am to do next. PLEASE!”. I left it at that.

I went to work the next day and the analytical brain was starting to kick in, like – “Vanessa, you better start to think about what it is you want to do already. Stop wasting time!” I made it through the day and I knew no matter what thoughts arose I was doing the right thing. It felt like a cross between intuition and trust that I would make it. I didn’t know at the time I was riding on full-fledged faith here. I just knew that I needed to trust this. I’m not the most decisive person (which frustrates the heck out of my friends lol sorry!), so when I know something, I know that I know that I know!

I arrived home and when I opened the mailbox there was one piece of mail. It was a postcard. It said “Become a healer! Learn Qi Gong and heal yourself and others!”. And there you have it. I saw that and without a doubt I just knew that was the next thing. I knew I was born to be a healer, I just never knew it could be a job. It was scary to think about since back then it was the most difficult field to do well in, but there was no doubt in mind this is what God wanted me to do. So this is where I started. I learned everything I could in workshops, classes, books, home courses and schools – that’s how much passion I had. That was also another sign that this was for me. God speaks to us in feelings, and in that moment my faith was to just pay attention and listen and follow the trail home.

I tell that story when people ask me about faith because its not about having faith, its about having knowing. Just knowing you are taken care of. Knowing the universe is conspiring to please you. Knowing everything is happening for your good. If we have any doubts at all, that’s not true knowing. There is no room for doubt in faith. There is no space for prove-it-to-me, or disbelief. This also wasn’t blind faith, although it may appear that way on the surface. I always knew there was more. I could feel it. When you know you just know. I tell clients that if there is something you need to have faith about and have trouble getting there, ask yourself, what do you know about this. Forget the word faith, and tune into what you know beyond a shadow of a doubt. Tune into your feelings. Go from there.

Effortless Slumber: Goodnight Insomnia

I’m not usually someone that suffers insomnia. In the last 5 years I feel like I am now one of those lucky people that can fall asleep in all of those places where I used to covet the sleep that others indulged in, such as on a plane, car, friends couch, anywhere it suited them. Yet, every so often something happens where even though my body is exhausted and I’ve dragged and loaded her into the bed, I lay awake mind a-buzz with all kinds of things that have no matter in daily life. What the heck is that I wondered? And why today when I have to be up in 4 hours?

As someone that likes to use time to figure stuff out, this was the perfection in the imperfection. So let me precede with this: we know not to do caffeine late in the day and a bit of exercise helps you get to sleep. Standard advice. Taking those into account I asked, why won’t my mind stop racing? It’s one of those things where your mind is racing and its hard to break out of it on your own unless you are a mind-ninja, however, I ripped myself away from my bubbling thoughts long enough to take action.

1. Say, “I am now willing to feel all these feelings.” Then relax, and put your point of focus on your body. Feel your body. Feel the feelings (not emotions), the body sensations that your body would be feeling had you not been in your head. When we don’t connect the feelings into the body, they stay in the head, trapped as winding thoughts with no resolution. When we feel them, they instantly become integrated as part of us and become automatic. The head becomes free.

2. Ground. Duh. Yes, you may say duh to yourself too since its so simple and such a common practice. However, this doesn’t easily occur to someone whose mind is racing through the solar system.

3. This is usually where I fall asleep. However, if you find your mind racing again, go back to step 1. Really let yourself relax and ask why you are resisting any of these feelings. How did you feel about something that happened that day? Does something need to be acknowledged by you?

Happy zzzzz’s…..
